Back in February, I told you about my and my wife's hunt for a new bed ("Not Settling for 'Almost as Good'"). Our antique bed was falling apart and we had decided to buy a new one. We actually paid for a bed that was a good deal, but not quite what we wanted. Later, we cancelled the order when the store called us and tried to switch it with another one. We decided to wait until we could find a bed that we really wanted. After all, we expected to live with our choice for the next 15 years.

Well, it took almost 3 months, but in April, we walked into a Blue Tomatoes Furniture Store and found the exact bed we were looking for! It had dark wood and leather head and footboards. Best of all, it was on sale marked down from $1200 to $700, which was $200 more than the one we saw in February, but it was exactly what we wanted and knew we would be happy with for many years. We put it on lay-away (2 easy payments of $350, with no interest) and had it delivered in May. Here's a picture of it. And, no, Chazz is not allowed on it. He has two of his own beds (which he has to share with his cat).
