I took a pair of my favorite shoes in for new heels yesterday. I originally paid $50 for the shoes a year and a half ago. With the exception of the tip of the heel falling off, they are in exceptional condition, especially since I wear them two or three times a week. The price of the repair is $15. If I keep taking good care of them, they should last me another three or four years. Definitely worth the additional $15 investment.
