I almost made an expensive and unnecessary blunder this
morning. I put on a pair of shoes for
work, saw the scuffed toes and said to myself, "I really need a new pair
of shoes." Within a half second, I
spotted the shoe polish I have sitting in my shoe hanger. It took me less than a minute to polish the
toes of my shoes making them look brand new again. I saved myself $20 - $60 and a trip to the
shoe store!
Recently, Rachel Mari wrote an article for Budget Savvy
titled, How
to Beat the 'Emergency Spending' Situation. Her advice is especially timely as we all work even harder to make do
with what we already have.
Rachel has agreed to write a series of articles on this
subject. Her next piece will be
published within the next week or two. Keep an eye out for it.
