I received the following email from my friend Renee regarding the entry I wrote titled: "Organic Milk".

"At Costco last night, I noticed that their regular gallons of milk advertised that they are RGBH-free. I think the price was $5.39 for two gallons. There is a limitation, though - they only have whole, skim and 2% - no 1%, which is what we use. They also sell half gallons of organic milk, but it's about $8 for three half-gallons, and that's the same as buying it by the gallon at Safeway ($5.39 on sale, $5.99 regular price up here). Keep up the Budget Savvy life!"

$5.39 for two gallons breaks down to an unbelievable $2.70 per gallon. As you can imagine, I'll be heading to Costco more often. Luckily, there is one right next to our martial arts school, Fearless Fitness so it is relatively convenient. I just need to make sure I don't go hungry. Costco is probably the most dangerous place to shop when hungry, closely followed by Trader Joe's.

Thanks again for the email Renee!
